This position is for a mid-level analyst to join the highly motivated operational team in India, responsible for providing technical support to end users regarding SharePoint support, and other technology related issues. Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting all activities related to the Enterprise SharePoint environment operations, maintenance, integration, and improvement
Configure and maintain SharePoint Server 2010 and 2013 farms according to best practices for security, performance and availability
Deploy service packs and other system updates within predefined maintenance windows and communicate changes to site administrators as appropriate
Day-to-day management of the SharePoint farm, and responsible for any changes to production or QA environments, including solution and code deployment, as well as new feature-adds while working with the development team
Implement infrastructure monitoring using native and third-party tools to ensure adherence to SLAs for performance and availability
Accountable for incident and problem management by ensuring incidents and problems from all business units are resolved quickly
Provide on-call support as needed
Requirements:
Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B.E. or equivalent
Experience 3 to 6 years
Key Skills - SharePoint administration, IIS Administration, SQL
3+ years experience in SharePoint Administration
Experience in related Microsoft technologies: VS, MSSQL, BI tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
Experience with: Windows Server, AD, MS SQL Server
Experience with Scripting knowledge with Microsoft Power Shell
Proficient with all applicable general technical software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Outlook, etc
Ability to work well independently as well as in a small team
Proven ability to work with both developers, non-technical users and executives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Clear, articulate mastery of the English language
Ability and willingness to work late nights and weekends as needed
